Giving the relevance of viruses in medicine, agriculture, industries and the environment, this course aims to introduce the methods for virus cultivation, detection and identification. The methods for the maintenance of viruses in plant and animal cells in vivo will be discussed and the application of tissue culture/cell techniques in virology study/research will also highlighted.
